Firstly, it has the function of washing eyes and face. When toxic chemicals (such as strong acids and strong bases) splash into the eyes or face, the eyewash nozzle can be quickly activated to use clean water or buffer solution to dilute and wash away the harmful substances, preventing eye and facial burns or infections.

Secondly, it has the shower function. If chemicals come into contact with the body in large quantities or if clothing catches fire, the entire body can be rinsed through the shower system to reduce the degree of injury.
