Stainless Steel Emergency Shower and Eyewash

Product Specification

1.Surface treatment: fine polishing / high brightness epoxy resin coating, use function: spray + eye wash (can be used at the same time or separately), installation adopts the UNION type pipe connection method, internal PTFE control, quick assembly and disassembly. 

2.Switching ball valve: two-piece quick-opening ball valve, the eyewash valve is a G1/2 304 stainless steel ball valve, and the flush valve is a 1-inch stainless steel ball valve, with an opening time of ≤1 second to ensure smooth water flow. The ball valve switch is flexible in place, without jamming, easy to operate, and has reliable sealing. 

3.Flushing nozzle: spinning crimping process design, diameter ≥ 250mm .

4. Eyewash nozzle molded integrated molding, with double flow control valve and filter screen, removes impurities in the water and avoids water beams from hurting the eyes. Flow regulator with pressure throttling valve suitable for any pressure point. 

5. Pipe diameter ≥ 38mm, eyewash basin ≥ 300mm, straight edge design, water collection and concentration to prevent splashing.Nominal pressure≥ 1.0MPa. Working pressure: 0.2 ~ 0.4MPa. Test pressure≥ 1.5MPa.Ambient temperature: 0°C~ 40°C. Spray water flow ≥ 76 L/min. Face wash / eyewash water flow ≥ 11.4 L/min. Eyewash water flow ≥ 1.5 L/min. 

6. Flushing handle/pull rod: ABS integrated molding, the hand grip is designed according to the ergonomic principle to imitate the hand shape and is comfortable to use; The tie rod is a≥ 13mm stainless steel tube forming processing, which is easy to operate. 

7. The eyewash switch pusher plate ABS is molded to expand the contact surface with the human body, and the position is moderate, which is convenient for finding operation and use in emergencies. 

8. Water inlet size: 1" inch female drain size: 1" inch female inlet height ≥1186mm drain height≥86mm eyewash sprinkler spacing≥170mm water outlet range: ≥ 1524mm height from the standing surface, water outlet diameter ≥ 510mm .

The size of the inlet and drain outlet can be customized according to needs, and the water inlet should be equipped with maintenance emergency valves and filters.  Stainless steel foot pedals can be added to control the eyewash switch.

Product Installation

1.You should check the type of products, instructions, and the packing list every time.

2.The location of the Emergency Shower and Eyewash should be installed within 10 seconds walking time or 15 meters from the hazard.

3.Installation Steps

A.The connection of the bracket and the pipe: connect the T-piece of the outlet with the bracket.

B.Installation of the bracket： adjust the position of the T-piece, and fix it using an M10 screw.

C.The installation of the shower pipe: screw on the sprayer head (G3/4” net gasket inside) to the sprayer pipe, wind the other end of the sprayer pipe with Teflon tape, tighten at the upper part of the erect pipe, and then adjust the position of the sprayer head to lock the sprayer pipe well with the G3/4” back nut. 

D. Connect the upper part and the lower part: adjust the direction of the upper part, connect the upper part and the lower part with a union (inside set union gasket), and tighten.

E. Eye wash basin: unwind the screw thread of the outlet with a fresh plastic band, connect the down part G1¼, and screw well.

F. Sprayer head: put the G1/2 cushion in the G1/2 screw, and connect the pipe.

G. Connect the inlet and outlet pipes to see if it moves well.nozzles or foaming devices.
